[connection through sound]
A slight pivot in my investigation opened up conversations around the role of sound in connecting and facilitating temporal experiences of interiority.
With concepts like live streaming, performance, and a myriad of pop-up balcony parties [a result of COVID-19] leading the way, I conducted a live streamed meditative exercise. With conceptual interests in the practice of attentiveness and the everyday also at the forefront of my project work, a mindfulness breathing exercise seemed to be fitting.
The event took place on Instagram on 26.05.2020 at 1.00pm and ran for approximately 8-10 minutes.
I created a distorted gif to map some of the audience who engaged with this live stream event.
Connecting people, place and time visually.
